Samsung Epix Review

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

The Samsung Epix is a good, powerful phone, but we can not help but feel that somewhere along the way, Samsung lost its Windows Mobile-concept. The original Samsung BlackJack is thinner, lighter, but perhaps less easy to use. The Samsung Epix is thick, strong, completely innovative features and a bit of tension that needs to be much more convenient. Sure, the phone adds a touch screen and the first optical mouse that we saw in America a phone, but everyone is clamoring for these features? Certainly not us, such as Windows Mobile Pro operating system is not as strong and effective as the standard OS WinME in the BlackJack II, and you are unsure about the need for a mouse on a smartphone.

If the size and complexity OS does not bug you, there is not much to recommend this phone, such as Great connectivity options and a little polishing that provides the interface pinstripe class and a number of features of the expenses. There are some nice bonus applications as a reference Wikipedia and multimedia features of AT & T can achieve. But even with all the good things, as we believe that Samsung was the undisputed king of thin phones, and we want the company had gone in that direction instead. Release: October 2008. Price: $ 200. Samsung SCH-W570 and SPH-W5700 Dual Screen Cell Phones

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

Phones with two displays are not really new. The LG Voyager sports a touch-screen on the inside and horizontally unfolds for another non-touchscreen with a QWERTY keyboard.

According to my source, Samsung has recently unveiled the first dual 2.2-inch display for mobile phones, the SCH-W570 and SPH-W5700. I think I already talked about the LG Voyager, which I’m guessing is not a dual 2.2-inch screen mobile phone. I wonder if Samsung has some interesting text here so they can say they are with the first of something. Something that really exists.

The purpose of the dual screens is to replace the traditional OLED logo on the front. The external face is access to music videos, e-mail, plus all data stored on the mobile phone. Of course, with two screens will drain the battery life a bit more, that is the reason why many phones have an OLED on the front in the first place.

These two clamshell phones are in the design, and vice versa when open, it will be a mobile phone user interface. Three is obviously a magic number with the SCH-W570 and SPH-W5700. These two phones are equipped with a 3-megapixel cameras, and its 3G-compatible.

Since the SCH-W570 and SPH-W5700 has just been published, they are not on the market, but will very soon.
