The Samsung Epix is a good, powerful phone, but we can not help but feel that somewhere along the way, Samsung lost its Windows Mobile-concept. The original Samsung BlackJack is thinner, lighter, but perhaps less easy to use. The Samsung Epix is thick, strong, completely innovative features and a bit of tension that needs to be much more convenient. Sure, the phone adds a touch screen and the first optical mouse that we saw in America a phone, but everyone is clamoring for these features? Certainly not us, such as Windows Mobile Pro operating system is not as strong and effective as the standard OS WinME in the BlackJack II, and you are unsure about the need for a mouse on a smartphone.

If the size and complexity OS does not bug you, there is not much to recommend this phone, such as Great connectivity options and a little polishing that provides the interface pinstripe class and a number of features of the expenses. There are some nice bonus applications as a reference Wikipedia and multimedia features of AT & T can achieve. But even with all the good things, as we believe that Samsung was the undisputed king of thin phones, and we want the company had gone in that direction instead. Release: October 2008. Price: $ 200.
Pros: Powerful phone with enhanced features, including Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G networks and a good game 3 applications. Excellent battery life.
Cons: Optical Mouse is not the improvement of navigation. Phone is very thick compared to previous models. Internet Explorer is buggy on review unit.
Here the features :

Wi-Fi connectivity

Integrated aGPS that works with AT&T Navigator, AT&T Navigator Global Edition and other GPS-based applications

AT&T Video Share support

Global roaming for staying connected everywhere

2 megapixel camera

Full QWERTY keyboard

Stereo Bluetooth connectivity

4.6? x 2.4? x 0.5?

2.5? TFT color display

One of the greatest of the original Bugbear iPhone for business users is the lack of business-friendly features such as support for Exchange. There are a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then and, while Apple has developed its proceeds, other mobile phone manufacturers are eager to learn from their mistakes.

Many of them are fans of Apple to steal the crown of the touch screen and cement a solid place in the hearts of businesses and consumers, but few people really are not people to offer a device that can be used both inside and outside the office, without compromise. Until now, perhaps?

One such competitor for the throne is Samsung i900 with his mobile phone. The Omnia, because it is more commonly known, whose name translates as “everything” in Latin and “wish” in Arabic, claiming that users with everything you could want in a mobile device “in touch”. But is it really complies with the advertising?

Dubbed an “all-in-a maxi-phone with a fully loaded top of the line smartphone improved multimedia features and backed by a € 5.8 billion (£ 4.7 million) campaign in the UK, with advertisements seemed in around the world since the tube in the papers (we have not seen the toilets … anyway), the commercialization of toilet paper is sufficient for your digestion.

However, one step back from what traders are trying to make us believe that something really find a gem business.

The exterior of the device is first class, but closer inspection reveals that if you have a plastic rather than metal finishing, it’s a little disappointing. However, it does not seem cheap, which is an important attribute for someone in a business environment, particularly for those involved in decision making frequent meetings.

The 3.2-inch WQVGA LCD touch screen with 240 x 400 pixels wide enough for most business users’ needs. It is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, which may be enough to send business users scurrying away. Fortunately, Samsung has a bit of a Makeover, so it’s nice to see, though still in use is not entirely free of problems.

Commercial users can appreciate that the inclusion of Pocket Office. On the screen icons are well thought of in terms of design and there is often can drag icons on the desktop, like the Apple OSX widgets that provide a nice degree of customization. But things can get quite crowded.

The user interface in general answer – despite the requests do not load as fast as we would like. Provides information haptic impressive, so you know that your application is received.

There variety of input methods, including keyboard and handwriting and a hard ‘mouse’ button at the bottom of the screen. Unfortunately, there is no room in the hostel for the stylus, which is forced to live ever more out of the unity of the carcass of a totally different style, so that the final loss is almost inevitable. However, while still in his possession can be admired in a solid case back cover.

An accelerometer intelligent flips what appears on the display of the portrait to landscape (or vice versa). Unlike the iPhone or most Windows Mobile devices with it the entire operating system, which is useful to do with a slick resize effect. There has been some delay while the GUI re-adjust, but it is not so terrible. It is certainly easier to view Word documents and emails.

Who wants to travel hours while you (but not driving) watching videos is pleased by the support of DivX and XviD. Users have access to the web at the touch of the finger will welcome 7.2Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi, while workaholics, a smile on support for push e-mail.

There are 8 GB of internal memory ROM, 16 GB, but one version is also available. This table is angry at a whopping 32 GB, with the addition of a 16-GB microSD card, but it is necessary to remove the battery to slide the ropes
